Netgear FSM726v2 Switch – Reset to Factory Defaults

1. Connect to switch via console cable
2. Power on the switch (or reboot by pressing the Reset switch on the front panel)
3. Immediately press CTRL+C to enter the ‘Boot System  >>> Main Menu <<<’

 [4]. PHY Access
 [5]. Flash Access
 [6]. Show ETC_SOC Debug

 [Q]uit to Previous Menu

5. Press ‘5’ for ‘Flash Access’
6. Press ‘2’ for ‘bank 0 – Flash erase’
7. For ‘Start of sector #:’ enter 23
8. For ‘End of sector #:’ enter 31
9. Enter ‘y’ to confirm
10. Press ‘Q’, ‘Q’ then ‘J’ for ‘[J]ump to Runtime Code

Wait about 7 seconds and the switch should reset to factory defaults, something like…
